Classroom to boardroom
ECOMAN program
How the program works
ECOMAN is delivered in partnership with Queensland Private Enterprise Centre (QPEC) and runs once per year from Ulton’s Bundaberg office. The program is offered to year 10 and 11 students through participating schools, with sessions led by industry professionals.
Over three intensive days, students take control of a simulated company and make decisions that determine its success. They allocate budgets, manage production, negotiate with other “businesses”, and compete for growth and profitability. Importantly, they also experience the outcomes and impacts of every decision they make.
The program concludes with a corporate general meeting, where students present on their company’s performance and future outlook to a panel of “shareholders”.
