Vacation Program

Am I guaranteed a work experience placement if I apply?

Due to limited placement opportunities available,we can not guarantee that all talented applicants will be successful. We will be conducting a formal recruitment and selection process in order to find the most suitable candidates.

Do you have any tips for when I am submitting my application?

The Application Form is an online form. You will be requested to complete the required fields and upload your Cover Letter, CV and latest Academic Results.

Cover Letter: Your Cover Letter should be no more than one page long. Use this opportunity to introduce yourself to Ulton and explain why you are the best fit for us.

CV: Your CV should be 1-3 pages in length. It should include a brief summary of your skills and experience, your education details, work experience, extracurricular activities/interests, and two referees.

Academic Results:Year 12 Students are expected to upload a copy of their latest Academic Report Card. University Students are expected to upload a copy of their Unofficial Academic Transcript which can usually be downloaded from the university’s student website.

How can I be sure my application was received?

Once you submit your application, you will see a pop up box confirming your application has been submitted. You should also check your emails, as a confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address confirming we have received your application.

Can I submit a hard-copy application?

We appreciate the initiative shown when submitting a hand delivered application. For this process though, we respectfully request that students refrain from doing so as this can slow down the selection process, especially if students are submitting multiple applications.

When should I expect to hear from you?

Applications will not be viewed until after closing date. Initial contact will be made with all candidates by Friday, 15 September 2017. Please make sure your mobile number and email are active, so you are easily contactable.

What can I expect from the recruitment and selection process?

After the closing date, short-listed candidates will be invited to participate in an interview and online cognitive assessment. Candidates will then be short-listed again for final interview. Offers will then be made.
